ANNOUNCEMENT OF AYGC 2022 – HYBRID EDITION

From a COVID pandemic in 2020 to hosting two virtual convergences (2020 and 2021) and now the steady easing of restrictions, the African Youth and Governance Convergence (AYGC) has stood firm, thrived and adjusted to the new normal. This has been made possible through the Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF) and its Board’s efforts, alumni inspired COVID interventions and even more, the resilience of the African youth.

As we continue to monitor global health and safety protocols, as well as cater for our vast community, the International Organizing Board of the 14th African Youth and Governance Convergence (AYGC 2022) will be hosted in a hybrid manner. Delegates will attend both in-person and online to make it accessible for all youth across Africa
and those living in the Diaspora.

ABOUT AYGC

The AYGC is an all-year-round leadership grooming program with an annual convergence initiated and convened by YBF since 2009. It brings together youth, experts in academia, government officials and public servants to analyze policy documents and deliberate on issues affecting the continent. Delegates grouped into workable committees will be guided by industry experts to research on given topics ahead of the convergence after which they will propose and defend their motions for subsequent adoption at a General Assembly. AYGC offers an excellent opportunity to network beyond borders in the building of a united African front. For more information, visit www.aygconvergence.org.
